Ayla Altınten graduated from Gazi University, Department of Chemical Engineering in 1992. She received her M.Sc. from Gazi University, Department of Chemical Engineering in 1996. In 2002, she completed her Ph.D. at Gazi University, Department of Chemical Engineering. She worked as a research assistant between 1994 and 2005 at the same school. Since February 2005, she has been working as an assistant professor in GUFEA-Department of Chemical Engineering.
