Graduated from Ankara University Science Faculty as Chemical Engineer in 1973. Completed his MS and PhD degrees in 1977 and 1980 respectively.   Became a research assistant in ADMMA in 1973, Assist. Prof. in Gazi University in 1982, and Assoc. Prof in 1989. Attended studies in Inonu University Chemical Engineering Department of Engineering Faculty in 1990-91. Got his Professor title in 1995. His positions respectively: Chairman of GUEAF Chemical Engineering Department, Vice-Director of GU Institute of Science and Technology, Director of GU Institute of Science and Technology, Vice-Dean of GU Engineering and Architecture Faculty.
